Artist: Jack Thurston Important Added Info: Note that most inserts for this movie that we have previously sold have a large corrective credits snipe over the lower right tagline area. This was because that long tagline contained the sentence "Filmed in Giant Panamation". A knowledgeable collector tells us that "Panamation" was simply another name for Harryhausen's Super-Dynamation process. However, it is likely copyright issues with Panavision caused the studio to issue the snipe. In addition, not all of the posters have this tagline (some with a snipe, and some without, and of course, the snipe could be removed). But most collectors consider all the different versions to be from the first release, and they don't seem to put a different valuation on the different kinds. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has light creases and faint smudges around the edges. Other than some minor fold and border wear it is otherwise in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
