Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster appears to have been entirely created out of a linen-like material (we have never seen a poster like this before). It is also possible that it was "encased" in a clear linen-like plasticky material (I am at a loss as to how to describe it!). It appears to be a technique of preservation similar to lamination that I am unfamiliar with. If anyone knows more about this restoration method, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that after it was backed, it was roughly handled, and there are now creases around the edges, but they are mostly in the excess portion and only slightly in the edge of the poster itself (see our image).
