An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Rainbow Island, the 1944 Ralph Murphy South Seas tropical island romantic musical ("Paramount's tropical paradise of laughter, love, songs and sarongs!"; "An island of fun in a sea of laughs") starring Dorothy Lamour, Eddie Bracken, Gil Lamb, Barry Sullivan, and Elena Verdugo. Note that Dorothy Lamour starred as "Lona", and there were young sexy girls who wore tropical outfits and were only credited as "Lona's Companions", and two of those were Yvonne De Carlo and Noel Neill, both of whom went on to bigger and better careers! Important Added Info: The slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides. When we auction slides that have a cardboard holder, we provide a separate image of how the cardboard holder looks, but when we auction slides with the black tape (like this one) we only provide the scan of the glass slide image, because that really is about all there is to see. Condition: very good. The black tape on the right border is partially missing.
