Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two different styles of window cards (both 19 years ago, and they sold for $2,247 and $2,700), and two single stills from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this lobby card!

Note that this lobby card has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the lobby card was backed onto a light paper backing (acid-free), that keeps the "feel" of the lobby card similar to that of the original lobby card. Some restorers prefer to paperback lobby cards on to a heavy backing, while others prefer to use a very lightweight backing. The advantage of a lightweight backing is that the card still "feels" like a regular lobby card, but a heavier backing makes restoration easier to do and less noticeable. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. Prior to paperbacking, the card was folded vertically at a slight diagonal near the middle. It had two small circular punch holes in the left of the top border, one of them very slightly touching the back of a cat. It had a diagonal crease in the bottom left corner and a tear at the bottom of the vertical fold in the blank border and small paper loss in the right of the bottom border, in the blank white area only. Someone had the card backed onto a thin paper backing, but it was for stabilization purposes only, and only slight restoration was performed in the image area, along the fold and in the background areas. Otherwise, the card's defects were left as they were. One could either display this rare card as it is or choose to have additional restoration performed, either with or without re-backing the card.
