Jewel Robbery, the classic 1932 William Dieterle romantic crime comedy ("The movie event of the year!"; "Warner Bros.' racy romance of a man who took what he wanted and a woman who wanted to give!"; "He stole her jewels - but that wasn't all!"; "William Powell together again with Kay Frances in Warner Bros'. racy romance of a man who took what he wanted and a woman who wanted to give!"; this is one of the best pairings of Powell and Francis; he is a jewel thief who robs the jewelry store she is shopping in; among other delights, he gets someone to smoke marijuana to help cover up his crime!) starring William Powell ("Prince of Scoundrels"), Kay Francis ("Queen of Romance"), Helen Vinson, Hardie Albright, and Alan Mowbray
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.

Condition: fair to good. The still was used in a newspaper or magazine and there are pen lines around Powell's arms and legs and the back of his hair, so the image would show better in the printed article. It is not that noticeable, except when you look close up or tilt it to the light, but please bear this in mind before bidding.
