Date Sold 11/2/2010 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 8 Original 1960 (from the first release of this movie in the U.S.) Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) La Battaglia di Maratona (released in the U.S. in 1960 as "The Giant of Marathon"), the 1959 Jacques Tourneur & Mario Bava (who also did the cinematography and special effects) French/Italian Greek sword-and-sandal romantic fantasy love triangle adventure epic ("A Giant Among Men In A Gigantic Spectacle!"; "In daring color!") starring Steve Reeves (in the title role as Phillipides; "as The Giant of Marathon"), Mylene Demongeot, Daniela Rocca, Ivo Garrani, Philippe Hersent, Sergio Ciani (billed on some posters as "Sergio Fantoni" and on others as "Alan Steel"), and Alberto Lupo NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. All of the cards have some creases in the left of the top of each card, and a few have some creases in the rest of the top of the card. The card with the three images has five light vertical creases evenly spaced in the card, but they are not very noticeable from the front.
