An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 28" x 41 1/4" [71 x 105 cm]) (Learn More) You Can Change the World, the 1951 Leo McCarey patriotic documentary short ("Extra added featurette"; "Here's outstanding entertainment you'll talk about... cheer!"; "Everyone should see and enjoy it!") starring Bing Crosby ("Hear Bing Sing A New Song"), Jack Benny, Bob Hope, Irene Dunne, Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson (billed as "'Rochester'"), Paul Douglas, William Holden, Loretta Young, and Ann Blyth. Note that this movie was produced by The Christophers. They are a Christian inspirational group that was founded in 1945 by Father James Keller. After World War II, the Cold War began with Russia, and that led to both an anti-Communist movement in the U.S., but also some anti-Catholic sentiments, and this group was largely founded to combat that, but mostly by presenting a purely positive view of the Catholic church, through productions such as these. This movie was the result of founder James G. Keller getting director Leo McCarey and a bunch of his former stars together where they made cameo appearances (and Bing sang a new song), but mostly they sat around listening to Father Keller delivering a speech/sermon! The poster for this movie is unusual in that it brings together many different stars who are normally not found together on a poster! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 41" [71 x 104 cm]. It has a tiny bottom border, so it looks like it could have been printed with another inch at the bottom, but it does not appear to be trimmed at all, and we have seen another example that is exactly the same as this, so we think it was just printed this way. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has a few creases and tears of varying lengths (generally 1" or less but some are larger) along portions of some edges and most are repaired with different pieces of tape from the back. It has some light creases throughout but is otherwise in generally nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
