Date Sold 7/4/2023 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 39 Original Vintage Theatrical (measure from 7 3/4" x 9 1/4" [20 x 23 cm] to 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm]) Movie Stills (Learn More) Honeysuckle Rose (released in other English-speaking countries as "Show Bus"), the 1980 Jerry Schatzberg cowboy country western romantic love triangle musical melodrama ("For 20 years he's been singing to the country. But he never figured he'd be living his own love songs."; "Based on the story by Gosta Steven and Gustav Molander"; a country remake of "Intermezzo!") starring Willie Nelson, Dyan Cannon, Amy Irving, Slim Pickens (billed as "also starring Slim Pickens"), Mickey Rooney Jr., and Emmylou Harris. Note that Amy Irving and Willie Nelson, just like their characters, had an affair even though Willie was married. Irving later left him for Steven Spielberg! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills appear in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right of each still. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the stills were printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that they WERE printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So they are original stills from 1980, but they were printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
