Date Sold 5/1/2018Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Million Dollar Collar, the 1929 D. Ross Lederman (billed as "Ross Lederman") German Shepherd canine dog action crime thriller ("Story and Scenario by Robert Lord") starring Rin Tin Tin (most famous of the movie dog stars, he was Warner Bros.' #1 star in their early lean years and the earnings from his movies kept the studio in the black!), Matty Kemp, Philo McCullough, Tom Dugan (billed as "Tommy Dugan"), and Evelyn Pierce. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Important Added Info: Note that we have never previously auctioned ANY movie paper from this Rin-Tin-Tin movie, and what luck it is that the first item we were consigned is this incredible lobby card, which has the best close image of this famous canine star we have ever auctioned! Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
