An Original Vintage Theatrical Chapter #3 (The Night Attack) Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Red Rider, the 1934 Lew Landers (billed as "Louis Friedlander") cowboy western serial ("15 whirlwind chapters of western action and thrills!"; "A cyclone of western action and thrills!"; "With Buck Jones the screen's greatest outdoor star in dare-devil exploits and amazing horse-manship!"; "Look who's here!") starring Buck Jones, Grant Withers, Marion Shilling, Walter Miller, William Desmond, Edmund Cobb, Jim Thorpe (famous Olympic Decathalon sports champion who was stripped of his medals, played professional baseball AND football, and who made a few movies), Bud Osborne, Frank Rice, Dennis Moore, Margaret La Marr, and Silver. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. There are pinholes in the corners and some pencil marks in the middle of the horse at right. There are some smudges around the edges. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card! Learn More about condition grades
