Echigo Jishi Matsuri (literally translates to "Echigo Lion Festival"), the 1962 Shigehiro Ozawa Japanese traveling performer kabuki family melodrama (based on the Shin Hasegawa book, this was the fourth time this book had been adapted into a film) starring Hiroki Matsukata, Satomi Oka, Noriko Kitazawa, Yoshio Yoshida, Shimura Takashi, Kotaro Kan, and Minoru Chiaki. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
