He is best remembered for his title role as Steve Austin in TV's "The Six Million Dollar Man" (he had previously had a lead role in TV's "The Big Valley", and later he starred in "The Fall Guy"), as well as his movies in Will Penny, The Virginian, and Strait Jacket. Of course, his was one of the first major celebrity marriages when he married Farrah Fawcett, who became Farrah Fawcett-Majors, and they were married from 1973 to 1982.
