An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) State Street Sadie, the 1928 Archie Mayo Chicago Illinois talking gangster crime romantic mistaken identity melodrama ("Based on the story by Melville Crosman"; about a man whose twin brother is falsely accused of killing a police officer, and his brother dies, but he is mistaken for his dead brother, and the police are after him, while he is after the real killer, an underworld kingpin known as both "The Bat" and "The Chief", and he is helped by the daughter of the slain policeman, played by beautiful young Myrna Loy) starring Conrad Nagel, Myrna Loy (in the title role as Sadie), William Russell, George Stone, and Pat Hartigan. Note that this was Myrna Loy's first "talking" movie. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned five lobby cards from this movie, but we have never auctioned THIS card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. There is a pinhole in each corner and in the center of the top and bottom blank borders. There is tiny paper loss in the top let blank corner, and there are a few faint smudges around the edges.
