Porky Pig is an animated cartoon character created in 1935 by Friz Freleng. He has appeared in over 150 Warner Brothers and Merrie Melodies cartoons and continues to be popular with moviegoers to this day. He had his own comic book series in the 1950s. AND Petunia Pig is an animated cartoon character in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons from Warner Bros. She first appeared in 1937 and looks much like her significant other, Porky Pig, except that she wears a dress and has pigtailed black hair.
