An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 5" x 7" [13 x 18 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Johnny Vander Meer was a professional Major League Baseball pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds from 1937 to 1951. He was most well known for being the only pitcher in Major League Baseball history to throw two consecutive no-hitters. He passed away in 1997 at the age of 82. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Johnny Vander Meer! The photo has a stamp on the back that reads "This picture may not be rented nor used for advertising purposes. THE CINCINNATI BASEBALL CLUB CO." Note that our consignor purchased this from a sports autograph dealer around 20 years ago. He believed that dealer to be honest and reputable, but he did not receive a CoA at that time. Please compare this signature to known originals before placing a bid on it! Also note that this still measures 5" x 7" [13 x 18 cm]. Condition: good to very good.
