Bucquet World War II (WWII) Washington D.C. romantic melodrama ("She was a bashful bride! He walked in his sleep!"; "MGM's Star-Hit!"; "Based on the play by Philip Barry") starring Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn, Lucille Ball, Keenan Wynn, Carl Esmond, Patricia Morison, Felix Bressart, and Gloria Grahame. Note that MGM tried to pair Lucille Ball and Keenan Wynn as a "new comedy team" in this movie, and they appeared in two more movies the following year, but apparently the chemistry just wasn't there. Lucy must have had fond memories of Keenan Wynn, because he appeared in her big hit movie in 1953, "The Long, Long Trailer". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. We have never auctioned this style A version in all our years of auctioning and the only other half-sheet that we auctioned (the style B version) sold in 2008! Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has creases and tiny tears along the outer left blank border edge and one tiny tear is backed with conservation tape. It has some creases and s around the edges and there is a smudge in the inset image at bottom (see our image). The very rare poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition!
