Emmanuelle IV (released in Japan simply as "Emmanuelle"), the 1984 Francis Leroi & Iris Letans French romantic sexploitation movie sequel ("A Beautiful New Face, A Sensual New Body"; based on the novel, "Emmanuelle: The Joys of a Woman", by Emmanuelle Arsan) starring Sylvia Kristel (as Emmanuelle, meaning she was reprising the role she had played 8 years earlier in the original "Emmanuelle"), Mia Nygren (in the title role as Emmanuelle IV), Deborah Power, Sophie Berber, Gerard Dimiglio, and Patrick Bauchau. Note that after the success of the 1974 film Emmanuelle, many authorized sequels were created. The success also spawned many "knock-off" Emmanuelle films, which included the name Emmanuelle or its variants in their titles for exploitative reasons, but were not connected to the original series.
