A Letter to Three Wives, the 1949 Joseph L. Mankiewicz (winner of the Best Director Academy Award for this film) marital infidelity romantic melodrama ("All of them wondered... While one of them wandered!"; "...I'm running away with one of your husbands -Addie"; "Addie is the other woman all the other women will be talking about!"; "It's a Peek into the other woman's Male!"; "Produced by Sol C. Siegel"; "Adapted by Vera Caspery from a Cosmopolitan Magazine novel by John Klempner"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Jeanne Crain, Linda Darnell, Ann Sothern, Kirk Douglas (very young in this role!), Paul Douglas, Barbara Lawrence, Jeffrey Lynn, Connie Gilchrist, Florence Bates, and Hobart Cavanaugh. Note that Joseph L. Mankiewicz is the only winner of back-to-back Oscars for writing and directing (the other film was "All About Eve")

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this six-sheet! Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 78" x 81" [198 x 206 cm]. Also note that this six-sheet was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap.

Condition: good to very good. There is some darkening on the back of the part of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded. There are some creases and several tears along the folds that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded. There are some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on some folds, and some tiny paper loss at some crossfolds. There are many tiny staple holes around the edges.
