Lewis Universal San Francisco California tropical island horror science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("Genius - or Fiend?"; a wild story of a crazed chemist who says he has found a way to bring dead animals back to life, and then he pays a drifter to let him kill him and try to bring him back, and when that doesn't work, he is forced to leave town, and while on a ship, he is shipwrecked on a tropical island where the natives plan to kill him, but he appears to bring the chief's "dead" wife back to life, which lets him take over the island and enslave the natives, and then a man who happens to visit there tries to free the natives!) starring Lionel Atwill (in the title role as Dr. Ralph Benson), Una Merkel, Nat Pendleton, Claire Dodd, Richard Davies, Anne Nagel, and Hardie Albright NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
