An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 10 3/4" x 16 1/2" [27 x 42 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) The Crimson Circle, the 1936 Reginald Denham English mystery thriller melodrama ("Beware of the mark of death"; Based on "Edgar Wallace's mystery thriller" novel) starring Noah Beery Sr., June Duprez, Niall MacGinnis, Hugh Wakefield, and Alfred Drayton. Note that June Duprez became a major star in England after the release of Alexander Korda's "The Thief of Bagdad" in 1940. She went to Hollywood, but her agent thought she was a major star and wanted $50,000 per movie for her, and that priced her out of the market, so she only made a handful of movies. She then acted on Broadway for a while, and then married and returned to England. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
