An Original 1973 Vintage Theatrical One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Tang Shan Da Xiong (released in Hong Kong as "Tang Shan Da Xiong/The Big Boss", released in the U.S. in 1973 as "Fists of Fury"), the classic 1971 Lo Wei Hong Kong kung fu martial arts thriller ("Karate/Kung-Fu!"; "The new screen excitement that gives you the biggest kick of your life!"; "Karate/Kung-Fu! The oriental sensation - now gives America the action its been waiting for!"; "No evil on earth could survive the fury that was Bruce Lee!") starring Bruce Lee ("every limb of his body is a lethal weapon"), Maria Yi, Han Ying Chieh, Tony Liu, and Malalene. Note that this movie (and "The Chinese Connection") received very limited release in the United States until after the success of "Enter the Dragon", at which point both movies received wide U.S. releases. Also, note that Australia distributed this movie as "The Chinese Connection", and released Lee's next movie (Jing Wu Men) as "Fist of Fury", which further complicates things! Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been professionally mounted to an acid-free paper backing, but it is not "paperbacked" in the modern sense, because there is no Japanese rice paper between the poster and the backing. This was done to keep the poster safe and make it really flat for framing, but the poster can still be rolled and sent in a tube, and the backing is easily reversible by any restorer, if the new owner chooses (and of course, the poster can be immediately framed!). Condition: very good. Prior to being backed on the paper, the poster had minor wear on the foldlines and no restoration was performed. Parts of the bottom border are "lifting" from the paper backing.
