The Peanut Man, the 1947 Tony Paton black African American biography melodrama ("First colored feature film in glorious natural colors"; about black African American inventor Dr. George Washington Carver, who, among other things, invented hundreds of uses for the peanut, and is regarded as one of the greatest American inventors) starring Clarence Muse (in the title role as George Washington Carver), Ernest Anderson, Bernard Gorcey, Maidie Norman, the Hall Johnson Choir, "and an all star cast".
