An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Japanese Printer's Test "B1" Movie Poster (31x43; measures 31 1/4" x 43") (Learn More)

Terayama Retrospective 2003 in Parco, the 2003 Japanese retrospective of Japanese film writer/director Shuji Terayama held at the Parco Theater in Tokyo, Japan. If anyone knows more about this poster, please email us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this is a very rare uncut printer's test! Before a poster was printed in large quantities, the printer would print a limited number of posters as "test" posters. Commonly, they would leave the color chart on the left edge of the poster, which added an extra inch to the width of the poster (which explains why the poster measures 28" x 41"). These printer's tests would then be shown to the various people in a position to "OK" them, and once they were completely approved, the printer would print the full print run of the posters. Not only is a printer's test far more rare than a regular poster, but it is also 100% genuine, there is no fear of purchasing a reproduction! Also note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! Finally, note that this is a rare Japanese "B1" poster that measures 31 1/4" x 43"! "B1" posters are FAR more rare than "B2" posters (which measure approximately 20" x 28 1/2"), and because they are larger (similar in size to a U.S. one-sheet), they are more impressive when displayed on a wall!
