Corinne Griffith was a major leading actress from the 1910s to the 1960s. She was a very intelligent woman who invested heavily in real estate at just the right time, and when she passed away in 1979 at the age of 84, she was one of the wealthiest women in the world, with a fortune estimated at $150 million! Some of her movies include: The Garden of Eden, The Divine Lady (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), and Paradise Alley. In addition to acting, she wrote several books, most notably "Papa's Delicate Condition" in 1952, which was about her father, a Methodist minister. In 1963, she sold the rights to the movie version of the book, and she wanted Fred Astaire to play her father, but the studio chose Jackie Gleason, and she greatly disliked the movie!
Important Added Info: Corinne Griffith was nominated for Best Actress for this film.

Condition: good. Two of the stills have pieces of tape on back that were removed from a black mat and have slightly bled through to the front corners, and two of the stills are slightly unevenly discolored.
