An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10 1/4" [21 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) The Man I Married, the 1940 Irving Pichel World War II (WWII) Nazi marriage melodrama ("A beautiful girl's amazing experiences with the husband she thought she knew!"; "Based on the Liberty Magazine Story by Oscar Schisgall"; about a woman who marries a man and moves with him to Germany, and slowly discovers that he is a Nazi, and tries to escape back to America, but it is not so easily done) starring Joan Bennett, Francis Lederer, Lloyd Nolan, Anna Sten, Otto Kruger, Maria Ouspenskaya, Ludwig Stossel, and Johnny Russell. Note that this movie had the working title "I Married a Nazi", but apparently that was too much for 20th Century-Fox in 1940, and the title was changed to "The Man I Married", but not before some stills had been printed with the working title!
