An Original 1958 (from the first release of this movie in Russia) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Russian Movie Poster (measures 24 1/2" x 37 3/4" [62 x 96 cm]) (Learn More) Mozart (released in the U.S. as "The Life and Loves of Mozart"), the 1955 Karl Hartl Austrian classical music composer romantic biography (a highly fictionalized biography of the Austrian composer) starring Oskar Werner (in the title role as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart), Johanna Matz, Erich Kunz, Gertrud Kuckelmann, and Nadja Tiller NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Tsarev Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had some extra horizontal folds, with a number of creases at a slight diagonal below the horizontal fold 3" below center. It had some tiny bits of paper loss and creases along parts of some folds, with pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
