She was the wife of director John Cassavetes and the mother of director Nick Cassavetes. Some of her movies (many were her husband's!) include: A Woman Under The Influence (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Gloria (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Lonely Are the Brave, A Child is Waiting, and Faces. She passed away in 2024 at the age of 94. Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Gena Rowlands! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic.
