An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Daun Kennedy was an actress from the 1940s. She was born in 1922, and when World War II started, she became a riveter at the Lockheed aircraft corporation (like Rosie the Riveter!). She got a job at RKO as a messenger girl and was then signed to make movies, but her first dozen roles were all uncredited. While she became a very popular World War II pin up (and she was voted 'Miss Iceberg Warmer' and 'Miss Optometrists'), her movie career never really got started, and she retired in 1947. She married her boyfriend, who worked at RKO as a technician, and she had two children and passed away in 2002 at the age of 79. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
