An Undated (probably 1950s) Re-release Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked French One-Panel Movie Poster (measures 46" x 62 1/2"; known as a 'grande' poster in France) (Learn More)

Saps at Sea, the 1940 Gordon Douglas seafaring sailor screwball comedy (produced by Hal Roach) starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy), Charlie Hall, Ben Turpin, Harry Hayden, and Richard Cramer (billed as "Dick Cramer"). Note that this was the last movie that Laurel and Hardy made with Hal Roach.

Important Added Info: Note that this French one-panel measures 46" x 62 1/2".

Condition: very good. The poster had creases and smudges on many foldlines and some minor border defects. At some point after linenbacking, the poster was roughly handled and there are some creases down the right side of the linen, primarily in the excess linen, but slightly in the edge of the poster itself (but this is truthfully not very noticeable or distracting at all). Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well
