Stone, and Douglas Fowley. Note that this is one of fourteen movies made in the 1940s with Chester Morris playing the fictional character "Boston Blackie", a former crook turned detective (there had been ten silent movies made in the 1920s), all of which were based on short stories by Jack Boyle. The poster is lightly rippled and it has some discoloration in the lower quarter with some slight discoloration at top. There are torn pinholes around the edges and at upper left in the image area, and there are several scuffs, scratches and tears in the lower quarter with paper loss at upper right (likely it was roughly removed from a surface).
