Schlock (also released in the U.S. as "Banana Monster"), the 1973 John Landis missing link comedy horror thriller ("A love stranger than King Kong") starring John Landis (in the title role; billed as "The Schlockthropus"), Eliza Roberts (billed as "Eliza Garrett"), Saul Kahan, Joseph Piantadosi, and Forrest J. Ackerman. Note that this was re-released in 1979 in a lame attempt to cash in on Landis' success with Animal House!
