An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Argentinean Movie Poster (measures 29 1/4" x 43 1/2" [74 x 110 cm]) (Learn More) Ian Fleming's Goldfinger, the classic 1964 Guy Hamilton English James Bond 007 spy espionage fantasy action adventure thriller ("James Bond is back in action!"; "Everything he touches turns to excitement!!!"; based on the novels by Ian Fleming) starring Sean Connery ("as Agent 007"), Honor Blackman ("as Pussy Galore"), Gert Frobe (in the title role; billed as "Gert Frobe as Goldfinger"), Harold Sakata (as "Oddjob"), Shirley Eaton (as Jill Masterson, the woman covered in gold paint in the film), Tania Mallet (as Tilly Masterson), Bernard Lee (as "M"), Margaret Nolan (as the girl who provides the background for the main titles, the "nude gold girl" on posters, and also as "Dink", one of the Bond girls!), Nadja Regin, Gerry Duggan, Lois Maxwell (as Moneypenny), Richard Vernon, and Cec Linder NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that there is an amusing typo in the credits on this poster. Where it is supposed to say "PUSSY GALORE" it says "PUSSY GALDRE", because the person put a "D" instead of an "O"! We have seen other examples of this poster that do and do not have the typo, so obviously, it was caught and corrected posters were printed. Even more amusing, when the movie was re-released in the 1970s in Argentina, they accidentally re-used the plates from the "typo" version, so that re-release has the same typo! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. There is a typo in the credits (see above). This is in the printing, and is absolutely not a "restoration error". The poster also had tiny paper loss at the top crossfold and some creases to the left and right of the vertical foldline. There was some tiny paper loss scattered on parts of some foldlines and some minor fold wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
