Date Sold 2/25/2018 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 46 set reference 8x10 stills from Big City, the 1937 Frank Borzage New York City public transportation taxi crime thriller ("Roaring drama of city love!"; about a group of independent taxi drivers fighting against a taxi corporation) starring Luise Rainer, Spencer Tracy, Charley Grapewin, Janet Beecher, Eddie Quillan, Victor Varconi, Oscar O'Shea, Max 'Slapsie Maxie' Rosenbloom, and James Flavin. Note that all of these set reference photos measure 8" x 10". Some of them have a visible clapboard in the image that gives the details about the movie and some do not. The studios would use these images for reference if they needed to shoot additional footage at a later time after the set was taken down.
