An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Betty Grable was an actress from the 1930s to the 1950s, often appearing in romantic musicals. Some of her movies include: Million Dollar Legs, Tin Pan Alley, Moon Over Miami, and Down Argentine Way. She is perhaps best remembered for her famous sexy legs, and one of her pin-up images, which was one of the absolute most popular ones displayed by soldiers during World War II (at one time, her legs were insured for $1,000,000 by Lloyds of London!). She was married to actor Jackie Coogan, and then later to bandleader Harry James (with whom she had two children). She passed away in 1973 at the age of 56 from lung cancer. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Betty Grable! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Note that this Betty Grable signed item has a wonderful provenance! It was consigned to us by the granddaughter of the lady who ran the Betty Grable fan club in the 1950s, and she developed a close friendship with Ms. Grable, and she was given a number of personally autographed items, and we are auctioning 9 of them in this set of auctions. Some of them are personalized to the grandmother of our consignor, and all are 100% certainly personally autographed by Betty Grable! Condition: good to very good.
