Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this souvenir program book, which is from the world premiere of this movie on Thursday, September 19, 1940, in Fort Worth, Texas! The first page has a "letter" from the mayor of Fort Worth that explains that because Fort Worth is known as the city "where the west begins", Samuel Goldwyn chose it for the world premiere, and that he agreed to appear in person together with Gary Cooper, Walter Brennan, and all the stars of the movie, and that the week it opened was declared "The Westerner Week" in Fort Worth. Also note that the Justin Boots Company gave Gary Cooper their boots to wear and in return got an ad on the inside back cover of Cooper saying he prefers their boots, and it had a space below it for autographs (see our image)! Also note that we have pictured the front cover and one or more interior 2-page spreads from this program. You can use these images to determine the exact condition of it from our super-sized image, but realize that there are some other pages you are not seeing. Condition: very good to fine.
