The American Beauty, the 1927 Richard Wallace silent romantic love triangle melodrama (the old story of a beautiful girl torn between the man of modest means she loves and the rich man who can give her everything she wants; but she borrows a fancy dress from her mother's cleaning shop when she is invited to a fancy dinner, and the woman she "stole" the dress from is there, so she is humiliated, and she decides to accept her true love, who conveniently is on his way to South America) starring Bille Dove, Lloyd Hughes, Walter McGrail, Margaret Livingston, and Lucien Prival. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two different lobby cards from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this third lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. There are smudges around the edges and a pinhole in the middle of the left and right blank borders. There is a small stain in the center of the bottom border and a faint smudge to the right of that, extending into the word "Picture". There is a crease and tiny tear in the bottom border. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
