It comes to us from a former theater manager who obtained it directly from the theater that showed it! Also note that this is a double-sided poster. From the 1990s on, movie posters were often made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front!
UPDATED 06/20/2017: Note that this poster has some vague horizontal and vertical "lines" that are part of the background printing. They are difficult to find but can best be seen (in the Supersize image) to the right of "Star" at the top of the poster. As we have never seen another of these posters (apart from digital images released by Lucasfilm), we can't say whether this is a unique printing issue or if they all have it. Our guess is that they all have it but obviously we can't be sure unless we get another of these rare posters. Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded and is in nice condition!
