An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) 'Sugar Chile' Robinson, Billie Holiday, Count Basie and His Sextet, the 1951 Will Cowan jazz musical short starring Frank 'Sugar Chile' Robinson (a pianist and singer from the 1940s on, who began his music career as a child prodigy playing and singing Blues and Boogie-Woogie), Billie Holiday, and Count Basie (black African American jazz pianist, organist, bandleader and composer from the 1930s to the 1980s) and His Sextet. Billie Holiday was a prominent black African American figure in jazz music from 1933 until her death in 1959. She only had small appearances in two movies (New Orleans and Symphony in Black), plus her part in this short. She is not pictured on the posters from those two movies, but she is pictured on the one-sheet for this movie, which is beyond rare (as is any poster material from this movie).
