King Bros Circus, the circa 1950s circus poster featuring art of a clown being startled by another clown who is popping a firecracker at him, while in the back another clown laughs. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded and had a few tears and faint smudges around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed onto a thin linen with no excess, but unfortunately, after it was backed, it received a 3" tear near the middle of the left border (extending into the blue background), solely in the poster and not the linen, and it also has a small tear in the lower right blank border of just the poster. Any talented restorer could easily glue those areas without re-backing the poster.
