Simmons & Bessie Roth Solomon; produced by Darryl F. Zanuck; about best friends and rivals in 1890s New York City, who compete in business and in love, and, likely due to success of "The Champ", Beery has a young street kid he takes care of as well!) starring Wallace Beery, George Raft, Jackie Cooper, Fay Wray, Pert Kelton, Herman Bing, and Lucille Ball (uncredited in her third movie role!) Important Added Info: Note that this is one of 17 linenbacked posters we were consigned that were damaged by water. All of the posters (which we are auctioning in 17 separate auctions) became wet after they were backed, and the owner did not discover it immediately, and they dried out, causing creases and cracking scattered throughout, and they surely have mildew and possibly mold. They ABSOLUTELY need to be removed from the old linen and properly re-backed (during the process, the restorer can kill any living mold or mildew), and afterwards, the poster can again be displayed, but this is a fairly expensive process, so please DO NOT bid on this poster unless you can accept its extremely significant defects and the cost of restoring it.
