Akan Mashu National Park is a national park located on the island of Hokkaido, Japan which was established in 1934. Akan is an area of volcanic craters and forests, and is famous for its crystal clear lakes, hot springs, and its large marimo (a type of algae which forms large spheres). Note that this poster is promoting travel by rail from the city of Kushiro to the park.

Condition: good to very good. This Japanese travel poster was printed on a heavier paper stock. It was never folded, and it has some creases scattered throughout, more so in the bottom several inches. It has pinholes in the corners.
