An Autographed 2 3/4" x 4 1/2" [7 x 11 cm] Cut Album Page in 12" x 16" Matted Display (Learn More) Fredric March was a legendary actor from the 1920s to the 1970s, who seamlessly made the transition from leading man to character actor, appearing in a huge number of wonderful movies, and he never gave a bad performance! Some of his movies include: Death Of A Salesman (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film); The Best Years Of Our Lives (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Inherit the Wind, Seven Days in May, Les Miserables, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Design for Living, The Desperate Hours, and A Star Is Born (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film). Note that at a few times in his career, he was billed as "Frederic"! He passed away in 1975 at the age of 77. Important Added Info: This cut album page has been personally autographed (signed) by Fredric March! It was nicely matted with an original 1940 still from when he made "Victory" (looking at one of his complete set of Joseph Conrad hardcovers, and Conrad was the author of Victory!) to create a cool display that is ready to hang on the wall! The top mat is not attached to the back mat, which is a plus, because it means you can see the back of both items (because they were attached to the back of the top mat, which we have photographed; see our image). Our consignor is a longtime collector who acquired this autograph and then had it matted with the additional item. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Our consignor is a longtime collector of movie posters who purchased this item years ago, and it was signed, but he doesn't know how the signatures were obtained, and he (and we) believe it is likely that the autographs are authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good.
