It has, in Japanese, a title that reads "Star Wars 2: The Empire Strikes Back". Later posters drop the "2" (which is readable - see our image). Note also that this is a rare Japanese "B1" poster that measures 28 1/2" x 40 1/2" [72 x 103 cm]! "B1" posters are FAR more rare than "B2" posters (which measure approximately 20" x 28 1/2"), and because they are larger (similar in size to a U.S. one-sheet), they are more impressive when displayed on a wall! Note that this special "all Star Wars" auction began with a phone call from a VERY long time collector of Star Wars posters! He told us that he had reached a point in his life where he was wanting to sell his collection, and he asked if we could do it all at one time. Because he had 174 posters (including many of the most rare and desirable ones), we were happy to comply, but we told him that we would like to also add additional rare Star Wars posters from other collectors, and he agreed, and after we were consigned an additional 117 posters and related items, we have our auction! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has a few light scuff marks across the front and a few light creases scattered in various areas. It has a few tiny dot stains on back but they have no effect on the front (a few can be seen in the white blank area at lower right.) None of these defects are very noticeable or distracting from a reasonable viewing distance and the poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
