Auction History Result h613 WALKING DEAD 3 movie lobby cards R44 Boris Karloff, Cortez Date Sold 10/30/2007Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 3 Undated (probably 1944) Re-release Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (measure 11" x 14") (Learn More) The Walking Dead, the 1936 Michael Curtiz horror fantasy murderer revenge melodrama ("He died a man with a hunger to love and returned a monster with an instinct to kill!"; "Karloff is coming from beyond the grave!"; about a man who is framed for a murder he didn't commit and is then executed, which would normally be "the end of the story", but in this case, a scientist invents a way to bring him back from the dead, and naturally, he wants to find those who framed him and get revenge!) starring Boris Karloff, Ricardo Cortez, Edmund Gwenn, Marguerite Churchill, Warren Hull, Addison Richards, Barton MacLane, Robert Strange, Paul Harvey, and Henry O'Neill NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these lobby cards are undated, but one of the cards has an NSS number handwritten in pencil in the bottom right corner, and since that is "267-44", we think it is likely that this re-issue was from 1944. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. The bottom two cards in our image are in "very good to fine" condition. The top card has much paper tape on the back of three of the borders (it was partly put there for reinforcement and partly to repair tears in the borders), and has many creases and smudges around the edges, and some creases and scuffs throughout the image and is in "good" condition.
