An Original Vintage One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh) (Learn More)

Carmen, the 1913 Stanner E.V. Taylor silent romantic musical ("A 3 Reel Version of Carmen"; based on the classic novel by Prosper Merimee) starring Marion Leonard (in the title role as Carmen), and Francis McDonald (as Don Jose). Note that this was the first American version of this classic opera (dozens would follow, some comedies). What is very interesting is that this is a completely silent movie, and yet it is a musical! If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
