Historical Map: American Expeditionary Force, the 1932 Ezra C. Stiles & Paul C. Bowman poster featuring images and information about the American military forces during World War I (WWI). The American Expeditionary Forces (A.E.F.) was a formation of the United States Army on the Western Front of World War I. The AEF was established in 1917 in France under the command of Gen. John 'Black Jack' Pershing. It fought alongside French, British, Canadian, Italian and Australian forces against the German and Austro-Hungarian forces.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had small paper loss in the bottom blank corners and some small tears and faint stains in small parts of the rest of the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did little restoration to the defects described above.
