Original Vintage Theatrical Folded German Movie Poster (measures 22 1/2" x 33 1/2") (Learn More) The Bad and the Beautiful, the classic 1953 Vincente Minnelli behind-the-scenes-in-Hollywood California expose romantic betrayal melodrama ("The picture that's headed for the '10 Best' lists!"; "Based on a story by George Bradshaw"; "Screen Play by Charles Schnee"; very loosely based on the life of Val Lewton, and produced by John Houseman) starring Lana Turner, Kirk Douglas (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Walter Pidgeon, Dick Powell, Barry Sullivan, Gloria Grahame (winner of the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Gilbert Roland, Leo G. Carroll, Vanessa Brown, Elaine Stewart, Francis X. Bushman, and Paul Stewart.
