An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded International Six-Sheet Movie Poster (6sh; measures 81" x 81" [206 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) The Satanic Rites of Dracula (released in the U.S. in 1978 as "Count Dracula and His Vampire Bride" [see below]), the 1973 Alan Gibson English Hammer cult science fiction (sci-fi) vampire horror thriller ("The Masters of Menace Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing They're dead but they're alive..."; "'The King of the undead marries the Queen of the Zombies'"; "Evil begets evil on the sabbath of the undead!") starring Christopher Lee (in the title role as Count Dracula), Peter Cushing (as Professor Van Helsing), Michael Coles, William Franklyn, Freddie Jones, Joanna Lumley, and Pauline Peart (she had been voted Jamaica Island's Number One beach beauty, which got her the part in this movie). Note that Warner Bros. planned to release this film in the U.S. as "The Satanic Rites of Dracula" in 1974, but then decided to shelve it, and later sold the rights to Dynamite Entertainment who first released the movie in the U.S. in 1978 as "Count Dracula and His Vampire Bride". Except for some 8x10 stills from the aborted release, all 1974 U.S. Warner Bros. advertising material was intended for international audiences (they are marked "international" or "foreign"). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned a six-sheet from this movie! Note that this is an "international" style six-sheet (meaning it was printed in the U.S. for use in non-U.S. countries). Note the lack of a ratings box and NSS information. Also note that this six-sheet was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap, and the theater that used this poster glued the pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used posters in multiple pieces). Condition: fair to good. The theater that used this poster glued the pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used posters in multiple pieces). The poster was used in a Spanish speaking country, and they put some Spanish snipes in the upper left and upper right. There are also many pinholes around the edges. Learn More about condition grades
