An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) John Ford's Rio Grande, the 1950 John Ford post-Civil War Native American Indian military romantic family relationship cowboy western ("The greatest chapter in the glorious history of the United States Cavalry!"; "John Ford's most powerful drama"; "John Ford's greatest romantic triumph!"; "The Breathtaking Saga of the United States Cavalry!"; "Screen's top action star - John Wayne!"; "Based on a Saturday Evening Post Story by James Warner Bellah") starring John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Ben Johnson, Claude Jarman Jr., Harry Carey Jr., Chill Wills, J. Carrol Naish, Victor McLaglen, Grant Withers, and The Sons of the Pioneers NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). good to very good. The poster had tears and creases along many foldlines, and some paper loss at the crossfolds. There were tears, small areas of paper loss, and creases and smudges in the blank borders. The person who restored the poster did a nice job restoring the above defects, but you can still somewhat see them (mostly the restoration along the foldlines). Learn More about condition grades
