Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Swing Hostess, the 1944 Sam Newfield rags-to-riches-to-rags Big Band musical melodrama ("Screenplay and Original Story by Louise Rousseau and Gail Davenport") starring Martha Tilton (she was the vocalist for Benny Goodman's Orchestra in the late 1930s!), Iris Adrian, Charles Collins, Cliff Nazarro, and Betty Brodel NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. There is paper loss in the bottom left corner but it only slightly enters the edge of the image. There are smudges, stains, and creases around the edges of the poster and in the yellow background area.. Note that this poster has never been folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded twice (once horizontally and once vertically) right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded copy of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970! Learn More about condition grades
